Achieve your own Discover Arts Award at home! This free opportunity is open to students aged 13-16 (years 9-11) living in Kent and Medway (please see below for full eligibility criteria). Submit your Discover Arts Award logbook by midnight on Monday 31st January 2022 to achieve your certificate.

Taking part in Discover Arts Award is a great way you can learn more about art subjects, create your own artwork and explore artists and designers. By achieving your Discover Arts Award, you'll gain a specialist arts certificate which is also great for your CV if you're interested in further creative study or careers.

To achieve your Discover Award at home you need to:

  1. Email with your name, date of birth, current school/college and home postcode so we can send you everything you'll need for the Award, including a free pack of materials and some creative video tutorials.
  2. Watch one of the tutorials and have a go at making your own artwork.
  3. Complete this Discover Arts Award logbook, answering all of the questions inside.
  4. You can complete your Discover Award in your own time, at your own pace. When you are finished, email your completed logbook back to us at: by midnight on 31st January 202 and we will post your certificate to you shortly after.

This Discover Arts Award opportunity is free and open to all students aged 13-16 (years 9-11) living in Kent and Medway. Priority places will be given to students from Kent and Medway Collaborative Outreach Programme (KaMCOP) partner schools or target wards. Any remaining spaces will be allocated in line with the UCA KaMCOP eligibility criteria.

This activity is provided by the Kent and Medway Collaborative Outreach Programme (KaMCOP). KaMCOP is part of the national Uni Connect programme, which aims to increase the number of young people from underrepresented groups and areas accessing higher education.
