Gateway Services Manager
Tanya supports UCA students with help to fund their studies, provides general welfare support and assists international students with their visas in the UK.
Bio
She has been involved through Kent and Medway Aim Higher partnership, and more latterly the Care Leaver Progression Partnership, to improve post 16 educational outcomes for young people in care and care leavers. This has included establishing a dedicated support structure for these young people within UCA, and encouraging participation into higher education.
In 2015 she completed a BA (Hons) Social Welfare Law, Policy and Advice Practice.
As Gateway Services Manager, Tanya is responsible for managing the day to day operation of the University library, ICT support, finance, welfare and counselling services and information and advice for international students.
