Technical Tutor in Film Production
Chris trained at Twickenham Film Studios (Film Editing) and elsewhere around London studying all aspects of the motion picture camera.
Bio
He began his career in the camera department at Rank Kerley Film Services as a freelance Focus Puller (1st AC). Following this Chris was appointed as a Camera Operator with Director of Photography, Jack Cardiff, where he remained for 20 years. He has also work alongside many professional filmmakers including David Lean, Stephen Spielberg, Blake Edwards, Ken Loach, Alan Parker and Herb Ross.
Chris has worked here at the UCA for 15 years, he also leads a masterclass at Hurtwood House Film Academy in Surrey.
