Billie Williams

As a multimedia artist with skills across film and photography, Billie looks after our moving image studio spaces on the Farnham campus. She uses her practice to inspire and inform students on their projects while giving them the technical skills they need to develop and evolve as practitioners.

Bio

Billie studied at Farnham UCA, graduating with a First-class BA (Hons) in Digital Film & Screen Arts in 2018. After graduating she worked closely with the course as a Teaching Assistant while continuing to explore various film & photography projects, creating art of her own.

Her moving image art work has been shown at the The Big Shoulders International Film Festival in Chicago. She also won the U.Dance On Screen Film Festival 2018. Her photographic work has also been exhibited online as part of virtual galleries with her latest collection ‘Lockdown Light’ being featured by the ‘Asking for it’ exhibition group.

She has now moved on to work as a Studio Production Technician at UCA Farnham, where she delivers technical sessions in the studios across a wide range of equipment. She continues to explore her own multimedia art practices and uses this to help inform and inspire the students and staff.
