Lecturer in Make Up & Hair Design
Benjamin teaches the Contextual Studies in the Fashion Communications Cluster. Teaching across Make-up and Hair Design and Fashion Image and Styling and joining the courses in 2020.
Bio
Benjamin began his career as a makeup artist in 2011 specialising in Beauty, Fashion Editorial and Runway makeup with work featuring on runways such as Margaret Howell, Roksanda, Wales Bonner and Molly Goddard, and publications such as GQ and Grazia Arabia.
A graduate of the University for the Creative Arts Ben studied Fashion Design and continued to study his MA at UAL in Fashion Cultures: Fashion and Film, developing his passion for academic writing and research.
Benjamin’s role encourages students to enhance their practice through their academic research and writing. Exposing them to current affairs, cultural and social theory as well as other mediums relating this to fashion and beauty. Aiming to inform students and inspire them to steer their creative work to a mindful and educated resolution that will impact their future
