With a little help from UCA, there’s no limit to where you could go – whether that’s working on blockbuster films, editing your own magazine or launching a fashion brand.
How? Well, you can access our amazing academics and technicians, world-class and unique facilities, extensive industry links and above all, share our passion to create the extraordinary.
At UCA we want to help you as much as we can, so here's some information that might be useful.
We’ll be focusing on your portfolio. Unlike lots of unis, we’ll ask for a portfolio alongside your application for most of our courses. Pandemic or no pandemic, this snapshot of what you can do is just as valuable as your grades – and we’ll consider your application based on the quality of the work you show us. You can submit it digitally, and we’re keen to see your work-in-progress, as well as finished pieces; your creativity is what’s important.
We’re offering some flexibility on the UCAS deadline. With the pandemic continuing, we don’t think it’s fair to expect everyone to decide their next steps by the 29 January. So, as long as your chosen course isn’t already full by the time you apply, we’ll still consider your application. If we’ve already filled our usual number of places, we’ll consider any mitigating circumstances that led to you needing to apply late – just ask your school or college to contact our admissions team and let us know.
We’re ready and waiting to answer ANY of your questions. It’s really important to us that you have all the information that you personally feel you need to make a decision, so nothing is off-limits: just ask. There are lots of ways to get in touch - you can contact us on social media, through our UniBuddy service or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We pride ourselves on being a creative specialist university that gives you the freedom to explore and push your passions and interests, but also provides expert guidance so you can excel within your specialism. We want to nurture you to be the very best creator you can be – so why not browse this page, and the courses we run at our four campuses, and see what your future could hold?
Moving away from home or overseas for the first time can be a daunting experience – but we guarantee that we’ll find you a place to call home.
