Application for Undergraduate study

If you haven't made any applications via UCAS this year

You can apply online using UCAS Apply, making up to five applications, and then monitor the progress of your applications using UCAS TrackYou can also check out the UCAS How to Apply video, which talks you through the whole application process.

If you've made fewer than five applications via UCAS this year

If you've made fewer than five applications via UCAS this year but haven't accepted a place, you can still add more, up to a total of five applications. For more information on how to do this, get in touch with the UCAS Customer Contact Centre on 0371 468 0 468 (UK) or +44 330 3330 230 (from outside UK).

If you've already made all five applications via UCAS this year

There are still options available to you, depending on your status.

1. If you have withdrawn/been unsuccessful from all five choices:

UCAS Extra is a way of making a further choice. You're eligible for Extra if you have used all five choices on your application and have either been unsuccessful, or chosen to decline all offers you received. You won't be able to use Extra if you're holding an offer of a place, and once you are in Extra, you won't be able to go back to any original offers.

You can apply for another choice in UCAS Extra from 25 February using UCAS Track.

2. If you have accepted an offer but can no longer attend that university:

We always recommend that you think carefully before accepting an offer, as you're committing yourself to that course and university. However, if you accept an offer and your circumstances then change so you can't attend your original choice, there are options open to you using UCAS Extra (see above) or UCAS Clearing.

International students

We are still accepting applications from International students on all of our courses. As an International student you can apply directly to us rather than going through UCAS. Please see our 2017 courses page for details. Application links can be found under each course.

UCAS Clearing

UCAS Clearing is only available to you if you don't hold an offer of a place. If you're holding an offer, you can ask the university whose offer you have accepted if they can release you into Clearing. Clearing is available from July.

Application for Postgraduate study
