This page contains a collection of the answers to the most common questions people ask about enrolment.

Before you start enrolment

  • What is enrolment?

    Enrolment consists of an online task for you to complete before you arrive, followed by a physical enrolment session during your first week. You must successfully complete both of these to become a fully enrolled student.

  • When do I need to attend during my first week?

  • Where can I find information about induction week?

  • I have not received any emails regarding enrolment - what should I do?

    Contact us on myrecordshelp@uca.ac.uk to check your email address. Please include your applicant/student reference number and full name, or your home email address if you do not know your student number.

Online enrolment

  • What is "online enrolment"?

    Online enrolment consists of four sections:

    1) Selecting your course;

    2) Completing a number of questions relating to your personal details;

    3) Creating and confirming fee and sponsorship details;

    4) Reading and understanding the University regulations.

    These tasks can be accessed via myRecords/the Applicant Portal from 24 August or a month before your course begins if you are not starting in September.

  • When can I enrol online?

    If you are enrolling in September, from 24 August or, if you are not starting your course in September, from a month before your course begins.

  • How do I enrol online?

    New students can log in using the Log in to myRecords direct link on the bottom of each of the enrolment web pages, alternatively please click:  https://www.registryonline.ucreative.ac.uk.

    Continuing students can log in using the Log in to myRecords via myUCA link on the bottom of each of the enrolment web pages, alternatively please click:  https://myuca.ucreative.ac.uk.

  • I am unable to log in to myRecords - what do I do?

    Contact us on myrecordshelp@uca.ac.uk with your student number and full name or your home email address if you do not know your student number.

  • I haven't received my username/password to log in to myRecords, where do I get this?

    Contact us on myrecordshelp@uca.ac.uk with your student number and full name or your home email address if you do not know your student number.

  • Why is the online enrolment tab not appearing in myRecords for me?

    If you haven’t accepted your offer of a place please contact admissions@uca.ac.uk.

    If you have accepted your course offer please contact myrecordshelp@uca.ac.uk for technical assistance. 

  • I am completing my online enrolment task and I have an error - what should I do?

    Contact us on myrecordshelp@uca.ac.uk with your student number and full name or your home email address if you do not know your student number.

Physical enrolment

  • What is "physical enrolment"?

    Physical enrolment is a session held during your first week at the University where we will check your ID and qualifications.  If you are a new student or a continuing student who requires a visa to study in the UK you must attend this session.  Continuing Home/EU students need only enrol online.

  • When/where is my physical enrolment session?

    New Students:

    Please go to the Enrolment web page and then Enrolment resources. Then select New students and click on Enrolment timetables or alternatively go to the section called New student physical enrolment timetable.

    Continuing students who require a visa to study:

    Please go to Enrolment resources and select Continuing students, then find the section called International continuing student re-enrolment timetable.

  • What do I need to bring to physical enrolment?

    Your Applicant/Student reference number - This can be found on any UCA correspondence sent to you during your application;

    Original certificates of your required qualifications - If you have only just received your qualification and do not yet have a certificate, please bring along any results documentation you have. We cannot guarantee to accept this as evidence of your qualification but may be able to use this in our verification processes;

    Your identification documents - Due to Home Office regulations we can only accept a passport or a birth certificate with additional photo ID.

    If you are a student who requires a visa to study in the UK please ensure you bring your passport and any visa documentation to your enrolment session.

Miscellaneous enrolment questions

  • When will my student ID card be ready?

    If you have uploaded your photo on the ‘Photo Upload Task’ your ID card should be ready to collect at the Physical Enrolment session.  Otherwise your photo will be taken on the day and the ID card will be ready 10 working days later from your campus library.

  • When can I log into myUCA?

    Once you have completed the Online Enrolment task you will be provided with the UCA Username and Password for logging into myUCA / Emails.

  • Who do I contact if I have a fees enquiry?

    Please contact Student records on studentrecords@uca.ac.uk or enrolment@uca.ac.uk.
