Phil Gomm leads our BA (Hons) Computer Animation Arts degree at our Rochester campus. Phil has a first-class degree in Three Dimensional Design and a distinction in MA Design.

As an active filmmaker, photographer, writer, designer and blogger, Phil’s varied and encompassing creative experience directly enriches his ability to guide and mentor students.

Winner of New Media category in the Medway Design and Culture Awards 2010
The Making of Medway 2010
was a commissioned film for the 2010 one-day conference to reflect the dynamism of Medway’s burgeoning renaissance and city status bid.

The film won in the New Media category in the Medway Design and Culture Awards 2010, and, in conjunction with the conference itself, was later short-listed for Times Higher Education Excellence and Innovation in the Arts Award 2010.

The Illustrations
(2009), The Fashion Show (2009), The Story So Far (2009) - three short films documenting the University for the Creative Art’s Fashion Gateway Project

Selected for Canterbury Film Festival 2008

(2008) – a short film showcasing the highly radical fashion illustrator, Neil Gilkes, which accompanied the 2008 exhibition exploring the importance of drawing, with commentary from Chris Townsend (Author of "Rapture - Art's Seduction by Fashion", "Vile Bodies" and "The Art of Tracy Emin").

The film was selected and shown at the Canterbury Film Festival 2008.
