Anna Liebschner

Anna is senior lecturer in our BA (Hons) Film Production course. She has 20 years experience as a film editor and has edited a wide range of documentaries, fiction, current affairs and experimental work.

Anna has worked extensively with both artist filmmakers, independent companies and with the BBC. She studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths College and has an MA in Film and Television from the Royal College of Art.

A number of the films that she has edited have won international awards, including Handsworth Songs for the Black Audio Film Collective, which won the Grierson Documentary Award, Khush for Pratibha Parmar which won the Creteil award and Crossing the Line that was shortlisted for the One World Broadcasting award.

She has also edited several documentary series for the BBC, including the highly acclaimed series on psychotherapy, Talking Cure.

Anna is a visiting tutor at the National Film and Television School and at the Cuban Film School.
