Alyson Walsh is a fashion expert, journalist and botox-free blogger. Alyson has been a senior lecturer at UCA for eight years. Her responsibilities include digital marketing, branding and report writing.
The author of That's Not My Age comes from a background in women’s magazines and has worked in the fashion industry for many years. As a fashion expert, she’s sounded off on the BBC News and given numerous radio interviews, including a nerve-jangling live feature for Woman's Hour with Jenni Murray.
As a stylist, she’s worked with a whole host of celebrities; from Nigella Lawson to Charlotte Church, Yasmin Le Bon to the Manic Street Preachers.
Alyson writes predominantly about women’s fashion and is a regular contributor to the FT’s How To Spend website, M&S magazine, allaboutyou.com and Saga magazine. She has acted as a brand ambassador for several major fashion labels.
A graduate of the BA Clothing Studies course at Manchester Metropolitan University with a PGCE from Goldsmith’s College, Alyson has been a senior lecturer at UCA for eight years.
Her responsibilities include digital marketing, branding and report writing and she works closely with All Walks Beyond the Catwalk and Edinburgh University on academic projects designed to promote diversity in fashion.
