Year Group: Years 11 & 12
Date: 5th - 7th July
Location: UCA Rochester
Come and join us for a three-day introduction to designing and customising your own fashion products. In this Summer School you’ll be working with print designer Zoe Murphy on your own micro-collection of patterned clothing and accessories. From initial drawing right the way through to display and promotion, we’ll show you how to use fabric dyes, screen printing and stitch techniques to create a collection of decorated products that will form a curated display of your work. This exciting workshop is a great opportunity for you to try out new techniques, add to your portfolio of creative work, or simply to make some unique fashion pieces to take home and wear.
N.B. A non-residential option is available for this Summer School. If you would only like to attend during the day, please include this in your personal statement on the application form.
Allocation will be based on your personal statement where we would like to see an evident passion for the subject and an interest in studying a creative subject at a higher level. Priority will be given to the year groups specified but we encourage applications from all year groups.
Applications are now closed for our Summer School - Textile Print - Rochester. If you are still interested in applying would you please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
