Open Days FAQs

Here are some questions we’re regularly asked about our Open Days. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for here, please get in touch.

  • Do I need to book a place on an Open Day?

Yes - you should book your place in advance using our online booking forms.

  • Are the Open Days all on one campus?

No. We run Open Days on the same days at each of our campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham and Rochester. We also hold course talks at the Maidstone TV Studios for the BA (Hons) Television Production course.

  • How do I know which campus to attend?

We recommend you visit the campus that offers the course you're most interested in. For a full list of the campuses and the courses they offer visit: uca.ac.uk/life-at-uca

  • What if I'm interested in courses on different campuses?

We have lots of Open Days throughout the year, especially between September and December, so you can visit as many campuses as you like. However if this isn't possible for you, we'll try to answer any questions you may have about courses offered at our other campuses when you visit us.

As well as the opportunity to find out about a particular course, our Open Days will also give you the chance to get lots of general information about UCA as a whole.

  • Will I get an Open Day programme?

You’ll be able to pick up a copy of the Open Day programme on the day or alternatively you can download a copy in advance from the open day event page.

  • Do I have to come for the whole day?

Once you receive your Open Day programme, you can plan your day and work out what time you need to attend. Registration will open at 9.30am on all campuses, with the talks starting at 10am.

  • How do I sign up to the live Twitter feed?

Follow @UniCreativeArts on Twitter to receive live updates and use #UCAOpenDays to join the conversation before, during and after your visit!

We recommend that you use the Park and Ride car park which is on New Dover Road (postcode for satnav CT1 3EJ). The bus journey to the campus is only about 5 minutes. If you mention to the driver where you are headed they can help with stops. You can also look out for the large Canterbury College sign as the UCA campus is located to the left of this.

For information about the all the car parks available, please visit the Canterbury City Council website.

The nearest car parks to the campus are Depot Road (postcode for satnav KT17 4RJ) or at the Ashley Centre (postcode for satnav KT18 5AL), both are about a 5 minute walk away.

There are also a number of car parks located within a short distance from the campus, for further information please visit the Waverley Borough Council website.
